James, owner and co-founder of Roush Family Construction, has been in the building and excavation industry since 2005. His experience includes residential and commercial estimating to working hands-on with brush and debris clearing, driveway and road maintenance, house and shop dig outs, and home remodels and repairs. In 2008, James felt the call to join the Army, he was stationed at Schofield Barracks and Fort Hood, and completed two tours of duty. While deployed overseas, he grew in his experience working with equipment. Upon his discharge from the Army, James worked for Deschutes County Road Department, where he completed training in road maintenance, chip seal application, flagging, road grading, and team building.  

James is well respected by local contractors and has a reputation for top quality work, a straightforward and honest personality, and his dedication to delivering a great product to his clients. James and his wife, Ashley, work together to run the business. Ashley also has experience in the construction and paving industry. Together, they have two wonderful children and enjoy camping, hunting, traveling, and community engagement.
